The Old Shed

 STORY

The Old Shed sits nestled in the heart of our well established family run enterprise. Once a neglected Old Shed we needed somewhere to bring together all of our guests, to reach out to our community and beyond. Somewhere where you are all most welcome. Keen to use the best products and craftsmanship we employed local craftsmen to use locally sourced materials to create an atmosphere and ambience which combines a comfortable mixture of styles: rustic with sumptuousness, modern and clean, homely yet vibrant. Our core value of quality permeates throughout our food and our service.

Our family has been on the site for over 40 years now. Three generations as well as valued friends and colleagues play a part in the daily running of the camp site, holiday cottage accommodation, bed and breakfast rooms as well as The Old Shed.

Together we provide a friendly, professional, consistent approach to all aspects of your visit to us whether it's planning for the provision of  play equipment in the garden for your little ones to enjoy whilst you sip your steaming latte or cooking in the kitchen to produce that deliciously light sponge, generously smothered with  hand whipped butter cream and fresh fruit jam filling.

The Old Shed has baby change facilities, high chairs and toys to keep young minds busy. There is wifi to keep older minds busy! We are wheel chair friendly with flat access from car park to table we can cater for allergies and intolerances with daily vegetarian and gluten free options on our menu. We want you, your family and your guests to be our guests and enjoy the best hospitality whilst you are with us.

We invite you all to explore and use the facilities that we have on site: the woodland trails, the outdoor gym equipment, the play areas and Farm animals are all there for you to enjoy.

Our trails are wood chipped for ease of access, especially with prams, we welcome cyclists and walkers. The local town is merely a mile away and signposted from The Old shed car park.
