We are OPEN & looking forward to welcoming you all back! :)

However, things are going to look a little different for now.

Please remember this is new to all of us and these are government guidelines we must apply to re-open, so please be patient and respect all our staff as we adapt and overcome. These rules are subject to change. If we should feel we need to re-evaluate the situation to ensure a smooth process and that we follow government guidelines we will to keep both yourself and our staff safe.

  • The majority of our seating will be outside, we have a limited number of seating available inside. All seating both inside and outside has been positioned to for social distancing – please do not move any furniture. 

 

  • We shall not be taking any bookings; all tables will be available on a first come first served basis.

 

  • We are temporarily not taking cash. All payments are to be made by card, using contactless payment where possible.

 

  • Hand sanitiser will be positioned at the front entrance of The OLD SHED for all guests to use on arrival and in the toilet. 

 

  • Toilets will be available on a one in one out policy. Toilets are to be entered from the left-hand side door of the old shed (this will be highlighted). We ask you respect social distancing when moving to and from the toilet facilities and all children are supervised.  

 

  • Social distancing – respect one another’s personal space. Avoid close contact with anyone outside your household and refrain from meeting in large groups. 

 

  • The Old Shed staff will do their utmost to supply a quick and effective service, however, with government guidelines in place please understand our service may take a little longer. To help we have introduced alternative services such as a pre-ordered picnic box to help accommodate more people.  Please see our website for more detail. 

  • Anyone refusing to abide by the rules shall be politely asked to leave the premises immediately. 

Where to go and what to do on arrival? 

Please keep yourself, other customers and our staff safe by following these guidelines: 

 

Please follow the one-way system to access The Old Shed (entrance situated next to the car park, exit on the far side of The Old Shed via the farm buildings).

 

On arrival please use the hand sanitiser positioned at the front entrance of The OLD SHED.

 

Please wait on the highlighted area to be accommodated by a member of The Old Shed staff. 

 

Once you have been designated a table, please refrain from walking around and respect social distancing. 

 

All our menus are highlighted on the black boards. If you can not see the board clearly, we suggest one member of your table takes a photo and returns to the table. 

 

Food and Drinks are to be ordered at the main bar located inside The Old Shed by 1 person only from your table. Following the one-way system and respecting social distancing rules only 5 people can be accommodated at once in the queue, so please wait until clear and then return to your table once ordered. 

 

Once you have finished your time with us, to minimise the close contact we politely ask all customers to place any rubbish in bags provided when ordering. Your table will not be cleared until you have departed.

 

Please keep children seated and supervise them during toilet visits. There will be no children’s toys or coloring facilities within the Old Shed premises, so we suggest you bring your own forms of entertainment. 

The windows and doors are open to improve ventilation inside The Old Shed – please do not close them. 

Please exit the gardens via the farm building side of the old shed through the arch way.
